Sangeeth Varghese is a globally acknowledged leadership thinker, ranked among the top 10, from the Harvard and London School of Economics. He is the author of the No.1 business bestseller in India ‘Open Source Leader’ and the global bestseller ‘Decide to Lead’. He was nominated as a Young Global Leader 2010 by the World Economic Forum, Davos and was honoured as the first Asian Youth Ambassador by the government of Libya.

Varghese is a mentor for several CEOs and sits on the boards of two companies. He is the board member of the Global Business Oath chaired by Nitin Nohria, Dean of Harvard Business School. VR Feroseis Senior Vice President and Head of Globalization Service for SAP AG. Based in Bangalore, he is responsible for adoption of SAP products to locations outside of Germany and US through functional and language localization, legal changes and maintenance, developing products for local markets. Ferose’s leadership and experience enables SAP to execute key strategic opportunities in these markets.

Before heading Globalization Services, he was the Managing Director of SAP Labs India. At 33, Ferose became one of the youngest Chief Executive of a Global Multi National Corporation (MNC) in India, a post he held for over 5 years. During his tenure, he transformed SAP Labs India into an innovation hub and in 2012, the company was recognized as one of the “Great place to work” in India.

Ferose brings over 15 years of industry experience with him, and has been with SAP since August 1999.

Ferose is a Director on the Board of Specialist People Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation with the goal to create one million jobs globally for people with autism and similar challenges. He is the founder of “India Inclusion Summit “, a first of its kind event aiming to bring the topic of inclusion at the forefront in India. He is in the panel of “The Vision Group on Information Technology”, Government of Karnataka. He co-founded, the Global Shapers, Karnataka chapter with a vision to create leadership amongst the youth

Ferose was honored as a ‘Young Global Leader’ in March 2012 by the World Economic Forum. In a study published by Economic Times and Spencer Stuart, Ferose was selected one of the leaders in ‘Indian’s Top 40 under 40’ – 2014. This study is considered to be India’s most authentic leadership study and it lists 40 extraordinary young leaders who have the potential to contribute towards shaping the future of the world.
